Strategic Plan

Executive Summary
 
YPAA has 30 years of service to Australia’s youth performing arts companies, the youth arts sector and consequently children, young people, their families and communities. The organisation has undertaken significant and strategic communication with our sector over the last 12 months, including our sector survey and organisational review. YPAA maintains ongoing engagement with each state and territory via our board representatives and other sector stakeholders in their own communities this has informed,in a very real and practical way, the planning and delivery of our 2009-2011 Business Plan.
 
YPAA’s Business Plan marks a stage of growth for the organisation including:
 
• Relocation from Adelaide to Brisbane
• Employment of Executive Director – Lenine Bourke  (departed YPAA in Dec 2010)
• A strong nation wide board
• The development of three new positions including Strategic Communications Manager,
Research and Development Manager and Administrator
• Clearly articulated goals, strategies and key performance indictors, ensuring growth is effective
and relevant
• A broad and engaging program for our membership and sector
• Enhancing the brand of the organisation
